08/07/2004: "Dirty Stinky Dishes"

Why do I hate doing dishes so damn much? I mean, I don't mind doing a lot of things but I just can't seem to make myself do dishes. And now I have this stinky pile of nasty mold covered dishes that is starting to make the entire kitchen smell bad. I know that common decency dictates I wash (or throw out) these damn dishes soon. I've been checking all over the house for the respirator I use when I spray paint or bottom coat my sailboat, but I can't find it anywhere. And, it happens to be this gloriously beautiful day out there as well. I need to prune some cottonwood branches in the back yard and give Rozinante and good scrub down. Also, it looks like I may have to replace my marine battery. The last time I charged it up didn't seem to do the trick. I was invited to a birthday beach party this afternoon and I may be able to go to that as well. The video club I'm in is doing a location scoutting party today as well and is going to give me a call when/if they make it to the Treadwell Mine area to take them around to different sites we might be able to use in our upcoming project. I also want to paint my mailbox, which is getting shamefully rusty. God I love Saturdays! (I really mean that, I'm not being sarcastic).
