10/16/2005: "There has to be a morning after..."

So, a fun group of people came over last night...I drank a few too many Cosmopolitan's that were heavy on the vodka and light on the cranberry juice, I'm not the best hostess in the world when it comes to circulating and introducing people and shit like that, but most people seemed to enjoy themselves.

After everyone else had left, I had an interesting conversation with some new friends who gave me a great idea for the NaNoWriMo novel that I'm going to attempt to write next month and I'm actually excited about it, though I have to wait until midnight October 31st in order to start working on it. One of my friends is going to do it too, if fact, she's the one who inspired me to give it a try.

Oh, then today I woke up sick and really stiff and sore...at 3:00 in the afternoon! I'm not sure what happened there but it was actually kind of scary to wake up that late, especially since I didn't stay up any later than I normally do on the weekend. It was definitely worth it though!

It was a fun party! Thanks for hosting it.

I'm glad you are doing NaNoWriMo. I think your novel idea is great.

I'm glad that you were able to come...and I still don't know if I'll be able to write 50,000 words in one month but I may be able to write, like, a thousand!
