11/29/2005: "Answered my own question"

When I'm on vacation I don't really go to sleep for 8 hours at a time, I prefer staying up all night and then just take little cat naps when I get tired. Sunday night I tried to get to bed early but stayed up until after 4:00am. So, needless to say I was exhausted at work yesterday, dragging with no napping and super loading the caffein.

I promised myself I'd go to bed early last night but ended up painting until late again. I only stopped when I *had* to. I'm having an arthritis flare up in my right shoulder and now I can barely move that side. I also woke up this morning with a sore throat and all stuffed up. Since my air purifier from Air-N-Water.com (Don't EVER buy from them!!!) still hasn't arrived, I've been painting without any solvents just using walnut oil and M Graham paints. Does anyone know if plain old oil paint is harmful to breath if you have a lot of surface area covered by it?

Also, I decided to take time off from exhibiting and I'm going to stick to that goal. It was funny that as soon as I thought about having a show in Janurary I started getting stressed out. I just don't want to deal with all that again, especially since the painting is going really well.

OK, I better go make some more coffee...
