Tell me what you see:

Option 1
A beautiful woman, on her mark,
ready to run to New York and make
something of herself.
Whatever that means.

Option 2
A woman who finally looks
down and sees she’s standing
on water, a miracle that frightens
her so badly she wants to go mad.
If only she knew how.

Option 3
A careful woman,
who is gathering together
the pieces of her children,
her friends’ arguments,
her parent’s marriage.
Gathering gathering gathering.

Option 4
A pool of water, coolly refracting
light, a purple haze sunset,
and the hands of a woman
it could love, or not.
