There is scarcely anything more beautiful than snow capped Alaskan mountains, but I'm not going to miss them when they melt away this summer.

Hey Dio, you always have the best expressions...where do you come up with em?

And Markus, I agree I'm not going to miss the snow capped mountains, we've been having warmer and sunnier days lately and flowers are starting to bloom. Everyone has crazy happy smiles of disbelief on their faces.

Appears we've survived another one.

By the way, how do you feel about the state capitol move?
(I can probably guess)

The Capitol move brouhaha isn't something I have followed all that much, so my opinions on it aren’t all that firm. On the one hand, it would be great if our fellow citizens didn't have to charter a flight or boat ride to get to our representatives, but, on the other hand, the cost of the move is enough to make me squirm.

I'm a prude anyway. I think the money for the new capitol building renovation should probably be spent on something else - like a bridge. If they do go ahead with the renovation, it should be designed in such a way that it’s difficult to get into and uncomfortable to be in.

Magritte!

I think the capitol building we have is just fine if the govenor would vacate the top floor (like he was supposed to do) there would be plenty of room for the legislature.

Living in Juneau I'm freaked at the idea of them moving the capital away. It would totally kill our economy.

He did love the clouds...is that what you meant Holly?

No, I'm afflicted with a nervous disorder that causes me to shout the names of Surrealists randomly.

Um... actually, the first one is very Magritte and demands the presence of faceless men in bowler hats. The other two (particularly the bottom one) have a Mafield Parrish quality to them. All quite lovely!

Did you see the "Thomas Crown Affair"? I actually really loved that film though I suppose from a conservationist point of view it was pretty terrible.
