04/01/2005: "Getting out"

Well, I made it down to the Yacht Club tonight, it was a lot more crowded than I thought it would be but I also knew a lot of people so I didn't feel too stressed out. Being a girl skipper makes me rather popular with the hot young crew wannabees which is kindof fun. We made some plans for the upcoming sailing season and that has given me something to look forward to even though I have the smallest boat in the fleet and some people can be rather snooty about it.

My friend Jennifer took my broke ass out for beer and burgers at the Hangar which was also a lot of fun. A mutual friend of ours is in a group called "Morally Improv-erished" and they were giving a performance in the ballroom. I almost made it but decided to come home and start back to work on something of an artistic nature. I've pulled out a bunch of random materials to experiment with, if I do anything that isn't totally horrible I'll post it tomorrow.
